How we ended up at Founders Inc and SpartUp

Two founders, a soldering iron, and a lot of late nights. A short note on where we are.

Short version. We are two founders building an EEG wearable that measures focus. Inky and Elijah. We started with a soldering iron and a lot of late nights, and we are still mostly there.

Along the way a few groups took a chance on us.

We spent time with SJSU's SpartUp incubator. It was an intense summer program, the kind where you build fast and show your work every week. That pace forced us to stop polishing and start testing on real people.

We also got into Founders Inc in San Francisco. Being around other builders changes how you work. You see people ship, you see people fail, and you stop treating your own project as precious. It made us move faster and cut the parts that did not matter.

Foothill College and Arkor supported us too. We are grateful for all of it.

How is it going. Honestly, up and down, like any hardware project. Some weeks the signal is clean and the demo just works. Some weeks a connector breaks and we lose two days. But the core keeps getting better, and the score keeps getting more honest.

We are not done. We are pretty early. But we wanted to write this down while it is still messy, because that is the real version.

If you want to follow along, join the waitlist or pre-order. We will keep posting what we learn.
