These terms are an agreement between you and NeuroFocus, an independent project by its founders, Inky and Elijah (“we”, “us”). They cover your use of this website, the waitlist, and any preorder you place. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Plain-language note. NeuroFocus is an early-stage product in active development. The waitlist is a way to register interest — it isn’t a purchase and isn’t a promise that any particular feature, price, or ship date is final.
01The product is in development
NeuroFocus is a dry-EEG insert for gaming headsets that is still being built and tested. Specifications, compatibility, pricing, and ship dates shown on this site are current targets and can change as the product evolves. Images may show prototypes.
02The waitlist
Joining the waitlist registers your interest and lets us email you. It costs nothing, reserves nothing, and creates no obligation on either side to buy or sell. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing info@neurofocus.dev.
03Preorders
Preorders are placed and paid through Whop, our commerce provider. When you preorder you also agree to Whop’s terms, and the payment is handled by Whop — we never receive your card details. Because the product is pre-release, a preorder is a reservation against a future production run, not a guarantee of a delivery date. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund & Shipping Policy.
04Not a medical device
NeuroFocus is a consumer focus-tracking accessory for gaming and streaming. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. The focus score is an indicator derived from EEG signals, not a clinical measurement. Don’t rely on it for any medical, safety-critical, or diagnostic purpose.
05Acceptable use
When using this site, you agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
- Submit false information or someone else’s details to the waitlist.
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape abusively, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with us.
06Intellectual property
The NeuroFocus name, logo, site design, copy, and images are ours and may not be copied or used without permission. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to view the site for your own use.
07Disclaimers
The site and any pre-release information are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that pre-release claims about the product will all hold exactly as described.
08Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the waitlist. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited (such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
09Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the project develops. When we do, we’ll change the “Effective” date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
